impNERD has a tutorial on how to fix the Entrecard Toolbar from bleeding, by still displaying some text when turned off.
This is a good tutorial, albeit it may require some technical knowledge of file structures and accessing Firefox plugin customization areas, and solves the problem.

Couldn't live without the Entrecard toolbar! However, surely a fix such as this should now be incorporated into the actual program instead of asking a large group of people to make their own repairs. After all, a great many bloggers are not computer savvy, including myself.

@Jan I really wouldn't want the fix to be added to the permanent code. It is much more of a 'hack' than a permanent fix. To fix it completely a lot more of the code would have to be changed. I'm not 100%, but I think it has to do with how the menus are being populated and displayed.
Sometime I will have to go back through the code and see if there is a better way to go about it.
